The Zolle River is a large river that bisects the entirety of Fragaria. It flows through the city of Riverside, which is built on its banks, and passes by the Southern Woods on the way to the ocean. The river seems to keep the Woods secluded from most people, which helps Fairies keep their existence secret.

The river appears to be sourced from somewhere to the north of Fragaria, it flows down from the northern mountain range. There is a secondary source in the southern mountain range that surrounds the Southern Woods on the West side before joining to the main flow. While the river's exact width is unknown, it appears to be quite large, and presumably the only way across is to fly over it.

While looking for Kazai in Riverside City, Rhea spotted a couple of kids playing on the frozen river, and went to warn them of the danger. One of them fell in and Rhea rushed in to save him, falling in turn; Buwaro and Kieri went to their help and eventually pulled them out. This incident caused Rhea to catch a cold, which halted their search for a week; it also inspired Buwaro and Kieri to join the Helper's Guild.

Rhea mentioned Kieri and Buwaro had bought the deed to the Zolle River bridge. As it was a scam, it is is likely not worth anything.

Forgive Me

On the way to St. Curtis, the Sinclairs stopped by the bank of the river to let Willow and Eve fly home to the Southern Woods. Eve gave Rhea, Buwaro and Kieri "special Fairy kisses" in gratitude, and Willow made it clear to Duster that he wouldn't get such treatment. After the two flew away, Kieri remained contemplative, saying Willow and Eve were lucky to be able to go home.
