Roxana is an Angel who was stranded in Medius, along with many other Angels, that wound up getting involved with the razing of St. Curtis. She appears to have some sort of relationship going on with the Wind Demon, Cyran.

Appearance

Her hair is entirely dyed green except for the bangs which are white, in the fashion of female Angels; her hair covers the left side of her face. She has green eyes and pointed ears. She wears the traditional Wind Angel uniform, consisting of a green tabard with the Wind symbol on it, a white shirt with green sleeve patterns and green pants and shoes. She also has the Wind element symbol tattooed on her left arm.

Personality

Roxana was shown to be rather shy and nervous around Demons, in particular Buwaro because of what he did in order to rescue her, though is easily perked up when she learned he could help her with a personal request. She is among the few Angel survivors from the Gathering that believes in the idea that there are good and kind Demons, given her relationship with Cyran.

History

Past

Like many Angels, Roxana fell to Medius by way of a Counterreaction and found her way to St. Curtis. It's not known when or how she met Cyran, though given their later interactions they had to have formed some kinship with each other.

Demon Invasion - The Gathering: Part 2

Roxana was seen being hugged tightly by Cyran, who was very much drunk from the booze they were drinking. They hug her tighter a bit later when they heard Iratu yelling from inside the bar. Roxana was later grouped up with a bunch of Angels, while Cyran would act as their driver, where they were to head to the ritual site.

During the trip, Buwaro and Rhea (the former having entered a Berserk State), would try to rescue everyone on-board. Roxana was naturally frightened by Buwaro's appearance and reckless behavior, even after he returned to normal. Once it was time to abandon the wagon, Cyran clutched her tightly and leaped off together. They even asked her if she was okay. She would watch as her saviors battled Lazuli, who had also gone berserk. Once the battle had ended, she rushed to Cyran's side.

Atop the Tree of Peace

Post-Invasion

After several days, the fires burning St. Curtis would dissipate, and at some point Roxana and many other survivors took refuge inside the Tree of Peace. One day, she asked Tobel and Rowan if they could help her meet with their Demon saviors and once able to, she asked Buwaro and Lakritz if they could deliver a letter to Cyran. She was happy to learn they would help her out.

Powers and Abilities

Multilingual: Roxana is capable of speaking Lingo, in addition to her native language. She seems to speak fluently with no issues.

Trivia

• Like Cyran, Roxana is meant to reference a character from Cyrano de Bergerac; in her case she is meant to be Roxanne, the lead character's love interest.
  • Also, Roxana wanting someone to deliver Cyran a letter is in reference to the story where Roxanne would send letters to the lead character. Though, as even mentioned by Chu, it was more elaborate as Roxanne was sending love letters to Cyrano for someone else.
  • Unlike the original story, where Cyrano would end up dying, Cyran ends up living and Chu stated that this is a more happier ending to what was in that story.
