Cactus Cobras are a species of snake found on the Dragon Island Archipelago. They are large, light green snakes with yellow bellies. They sport rows of thorn-like protrusions on their hoods.
They live in the desert, and are said to be as tall as cactuses, which in turn are as tall as trees. They're said to be huge apex predators able to eat deer and/or gazelles.[1]
Moku, one of the Twelve Guardians, is a Cactus Cobra. After killing him, Moonshade gained the ability to transform into a gigantic cobra, although this transformation would drain him of energy. Since reconnecting to the power of Moku's bloodline, Rhea was shown gaining more and more snake-like characteristics, fantasizing about being able to become a giant Cactus Cobra as well. Her ideal snake form sports orange diamond markings on her back and thorns, reminiscent of the Earth elemental symbol, as well as hair-like tufts.[2]
On Earth Dragon Island, Jakkai worshippers of Moku the Snake were inspired by the large sand tracks left by cactus cobras to create irrigation systems for farming.[3]
